What do client verification statuses mean?
Client verification statuses help you track the progress of identity or business verification (KYC/KYB). Understanding these statuses allows you to take the right actions at each stage of the onboarding process.
Verification statuses explained:
- Not Started
The verification process has not been initiated for the client. - In Progress
The client has started the verification process but has not completed it yet. - Verified
The client has successfully completed verification and is fully approved. - Unverified
The client has not completed verification or requires further action.
How statuses typically progress:
- Not Started → In Progress → Verified
👉 If verification is incomplete, the client may remain Unverified
What to do:
👉 Always prioritise clients in Not Started or Unverified status to ensure timely onboarding and compliance.
